About Preston

image It was the famous Italian tenor Luciano Pavorotti who made young Preston fall in love with the opera at first hearing, when he came across the tenor’s PBS special while channel surfing. The young child’s heart was captured, and he believed that he too would sing the wonderful aria Nessun Dorma one day.

And so he set out on his journey to develop his young voice at the University of Texas at San Antonio. During his years at the University, he opened up to the diverse musical styles from rock and roll to swing, opera to blues, and country to Broadway. Naturally, in Texas where wonderful guitarists are a dime a dozen, Preston also committed himself to his other love – the guitar.

So whether you are wanting to participate in a rock show in tribute to the staples of rock history, you are longing to hear one of the gems from the world of opera, or you are a fan of Musical hits, lyric tenor Preston Coe will bring it to you with style and grace.

Take a passionate young spirit dedicated to joy in life, add an amazingly clear and multi-colored voice, sprinkle in a touch of melodic guitar, and mix in a humbleness to the music and to the audience, and you have Preston Coe’s "Classique".

"Classique" combines all of the musical styles you could imagine…from the classics of the tenor repertoire-The Three Tenors, Andrea Bocelli, and Josh Groban, to the rock and roll standards that Roy Orbison, Wilson Picket, and the Righteous Brothers made famous. His passionate and clear voice backed up with the hot guitar riffs that conjure memories of Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Chuck Berry leave each audience shouting for more and to thunderous ovations.
